Become the first HR Manager to set up the HR function at a new facility in Miami

A global, market-leading organization within the food production and aquaculture sector is expanding its U.S. operations and establishing a new production facility in Miami. With a strong international presence and a focus on operational excellence, safety, and sustainable growth, the business offers a highly collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Your new role

As HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the launch of a new production facility, acting as a core member of the U.S. leadership team. You will lead and execute all HR operations for a fast-growing plant environment, overseeing the full employee life cycle while driving high-volume recruitment, workforce planning, and agency management. You will partner closely with operations to build scalable HR processes, ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and OSHA standards, and support a workforce comprising both permanent employees and a large contingent labor population.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of HR leadership experience within manufacturing, food production, or industrial environments
• Proven experience supporting workforce buildouts, high-volume hiring, or plant start-ups
• Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and employee relations, including investigations and disciplinary processes
• Experience supporting health & safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Exposure to managing contingent labor or external staffing agencies
• Experience using HR systems and metrics to drive decision-making
